Dubai: The Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award has been extended to cover all companies in UAE's free zones.
"The decision was laid down taking into consideration the undeniable contribution of all UAE free zone companies to the economic prosperity of the UAE," said Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, director-general of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"Besides considering the great contributions of the free zone companies to the UAE economy, it is also felt that they should also reap a number of benefits accorded to all companies that participate in the MRM Business Award.
"These benefits include an organisational learning experience gained through the process of preparing the award application an independent and neutral confidential feedback report on the organisational business performance."
The last date of submission of application for participation is September 30.
