Dubai Airport Fee Zone completes third phase of expansion; commences fourth phase design
With the successful execution of the first two phases of Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA), the free zone has now completed the third phase of it expansion this construction this October. The cost for the construction of the third phase amounts to Dh 55 million. Already 10 companies have commenced work on designing the interiors.
Close on the heels of completion, DAFZA had already stated the design for the growing demand for space, including Office Building and Light Industrial Units.
“Currently, there are 64 light industrial units in constitute 24 and 26 units respectively, the light industrial units consist of office, warehouses and other services, DAFZA.
“The total areas for each of these 14 units stand at 345 square meters. And we are coordinating with the companies here for interior designing in order to effectively utilize the ware house space,” added Adel Ghafan Saeed.
DAFZA always believes in modifying its designs and space to suit its clients. “Based on the feedback received we realize that there was a demand for more office and utilities space in the warehouse and we have incorporated that in the new design, as well provided special temperature controlled air-conditioning. With respect to the office space building, the exterior will boast the same look, however the passages and lobbies will have a much-furnished look,” stated Adel Ghafan. “Another addition is the provision of basement parking in the buildings for 100 cars in addition to ample covered parking space behind the building,” concluded Adel Ghafan.
