There is no magic formula for success in business. Sharjah, the third largest of the seven states that constitute the United Arab Emirates has a track history of over 6000 years, when it was a believed to have been called Sarcoa.

Established in the year 1932 Sharjah Airport was used by the Imperial Airways of yesteryears flying between England and India.

The U.A.E. is a federation of seven emirates, comprising of Abu Dubai, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaima and Fujairah. It is strategically located in the southern tip of the Arabian Gulf, midway between Asia and Africa. To the north lies Europe and to the East, Central Asia and the vast populations of the Indian Subcontinent.

Being a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the UAE enjoys close political and trade links with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman and is a gateway to the Middle Eastern countries like Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Yemen, and Lebanon. The UAE is renowned for it's stable and flourishing economy that identifies with an open trade policy with double taxation agreements with thirteen countries including France, India, Pakistan, Finland, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Sudan, Syria and Thailand.

The UAE demonstrates integrity to commitments of foreign investments through membership with world trade organizations like G-77, IOC, OPEC, UNESCP, WHO and the Berne Convention of Intellectual Property Rights. All this within a political system that is stable, secure and open….. a shining example of a free enterprising climate.

Noted for it s hygienic and pollution-fee environment, the UAE is a land of sunshine with large swathes of pristine beaches leading to azure and clean seas. The deserts are remarkable for their beauty and incredible and the Emirates offer a high level of security and safety. English and Arabic are widely spoken in day-to-day communication.

For a country the size of approximately 83,600 square kilometers, The transport infrastructure is unrivalled. It is equipped with 15 states-of art ports, six world-class airports linked by modern dual carriage road network and the latest telecommunications connectivity.

Sharjah is the undisputed industrial nerve center of the UAE, according for 45% of the country's industrial GDP. Sharjah International Airport. Sharjah offers rewarding investment opportunities for business, big and small. A futuristic and Convention Center is being planned.

Recognized as the Cultural Capital of the Arab World, Sharjah is an exceptionally warm and friendly city, offering an upscale life-style and world-class leisure facilities. The Emirate boasts of the latest amenities that any modern city offers but simultaneously retains. Its rich cultural heritage and traditional values. Recognizing these special qualities, UNESCO awarded Sharjah the prestigious Avienna Gold Medal for 1998.

Despite the high quality of life, the cost of living index is very attractive. The social infrastructure in terms of parks, green belts and wide boulevards as well as healthcare and educational facilities are excellent, especially the University City with its vast campuses of the American and Sharjah Universities.
